Main objectives of this material

What students are going to cover
In this lesson, students will explore what really happens during a medical consultation by watching a doctor and patient role play and working through it scene by scene. They will build medical vocabulary connected to symptoms, examinations, and treatment, then use it in a gap-fill and a full consultation dialogue between a doctor and a patient. Comprehension tasks cover multiple choice, true or false, and a short dictation of blood pressure readings. Students then focus on the imperative form, transforming prompts into natural instructions such as Drink more water, Please come back in three days, and Let's take some x-rays. By the end of the lesson, learners will be able to describe common symptoms in English, understand and follow a doctor's instructions, and give simple health advice using accurate imperative sentences.
